About Nina

Nina Hall

I am a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist who has been practicing in Georgia since 2009. I chose the exciting field of nutrition and dietetics because it is constantly evolving and offers a wide variety of career opportunities. My interests include the growing epidemic of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease that plagues our society. I aim to serve my community by improving the quality of life of its residents. I am motivated by my desire to help others. After spending nearly 15 years as a researcher, I realized that I could not accomplish this directly within the confines of a laboratory. Thus, I changed career paths and embraced the profession of nutrition and dietetics, which has allowed me to play a direct role in helping others live healthier lives.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Alabama, a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Master of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences (with an emphasis on Human Nutrition) from the University of Alabama. I completed the dietetic internship at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia in 2009.

I currently work as a clinical and consultant dietitian in acute care, behavioral health, family practice, and worksite wellness.
